We go through an extensive screening process before hiring someone to join our team.Personal care involves assisting our patients with their daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene care, companion care, medication management, and exercise. Trusted Caregivers takes pride in the personal care that we provide. We understand that as important as it is to provide hands on assistance, its also important to allow our patients to have a sense of independence. Our Registered Nurses evaluate and assess the level of care a patient needs prior to starting services. This allows us to keep track and help build as much independence for our patients as possible. 

 

Background & Medical Clearance

The first step to gaining independence starts with accepting help from a highly trained caregiver. We promise a level of care that you can trust. Our screening begins with a thorough reference check, as well as a background check.

 

In addition, our caregivers must be registered through the Department of Social Services and submit a DOJ & FBI fingerprint live scan. We require a DMV record check, as well as a valid vehicle registration and insurance to ensure that our patients are safe when being transported.

Our caregivers are tested for tuberculosis and all immunizations are verified to be current before we consider them for employment.

​

Our caregivers MUST have a minimum of 8 years experience prior to being hired. We provide one-on-one training with our RN's so our caregivers have all the tools to keep you safe! Our training includes, but is not limited to, working with risk for fall patients, Kosher homes, hoyer lyfts, catheters, colostomy bags, etc…
